who is the composer for the piece? I guess Ms. Eder and Mr. Wildhorn still get along, as they both are working recently with Mr's. Marini and Murphy (WAITING FOR THE MOON and FOR THE GLORY
Murphy/Marini are the creative team for this reading. Here's a link to their comments:

I've covered all of the Wildhorn/Eder events at Lenape for BWW for 5 years now. To my knowledge Linda was not involved in the "Moon" or "For The Glory" projects. Those are Wildhorn/Murphy/Marini collaborations. However, Linda obviously still uses creators such as Murphy/Marini and lyricist,Leslie Briscusse (whose penned over 100 songs) for stage and music resources. Wildhorn also still works with them as well as Jeremy Roberts, who was Linda's musical for several years. Yep, you really need a score card to keep up with this gang.
Personally, I think it's interesting, exciting and time that they've all taken on new projects apart from one another. I've followed their careers for several years. Bricusse, has writtem several award winning songs from popualr films & musicals.
I will reserve my comments on this new work until I can view it. I wish them all well!
dearest PB, despite your vote of confidence as the "best writer on BWW", the link did not specify who is responsible for the music of the new piece. I have met both Marini and Murphy briefly, seen some of their work, and to my knowledge neither writes music.
I never meant to imply the lovely former Mrs. Wildhorn was in either MOON or GLORY, only that since the Marini/Murphy comments indicated much work lately on SEDUCTION, and since MOON re-opened in North Carolina and GLORY opened in Gettysburg over the summer, that likely the former Wildhorns were still friendly (not because they were on the same show, but because the two collaborators for the three shows were likely shuttling back and forth). That part really doesn't matter, I guess. I just like to think some divorces are civil and as happy as can be expected.
But the biggest question is: did Marini or Murphy write the melodies of SEDUCTION?!?!? if not, who did?
Marini& Murphy are writing the book. Jack Murphy is doing the music & lyrics. No comment on any comings and goings of anything else.
But m'dear, if you're gonna comment on a quote about me, make sure you read it right. I am far from the best at anything...BUT.. I happen to be the "brest witer" and that I can confirm.
is a "brest writer" someone who types on their keyboard in the manner sometimes demonstrated by Karen on WILL & GRACE? but who can't quite spell?
Close... this one's up for private intrepretation. Last time I looked my "brests" were "witer" except for a great tan line this summer.
*edited for spelling, what else?
just a reminder to invite everyone in the Lenape area to come out and see this. over 1,000 tickets have already been sold to this one night reading.
I can tell you that the music is very catchy, and enjoyable, ranging from Cole Porter style to a little popish, not too much, just enough for Miss Eder to add some spice to some songs.
the lyrics are very, very clever and fun
and the book has some fall down funny moments in it. great one liners and gags.
lastly, the cast is just wonderful, and they bring so much great comedic timing to an already funny book.
this is well worth $15 dollars, so come out to the Lenape Regional perfoming arts center in Marlton, NJ if you need something fun to do on a Saturday night.
Tim Shew joins "Shelia Valentine", full cast announced
I hope Linda is also taking acting lessons...
