I am seeing the tour tonight in Cleveland. I will post later with a review.
I've now seen The Lion King 8 times - Broadway, London, Toronto, and Los Angeles, and I'm still enamored by this glorious musical each and every time.
Enjoy the show tonight. Hakuna Matata!

Just got home from the show. WOW! What an excellent show all around. It wasn't my favorite, but it is still amazing. A lot of creativity involved!! Broadwayguy2: I loved Patrick Page as Scar! I got his autograph and chatted with him at the stage door. I also got Rafikis (did you know Fredi Walker is Rafiki, the original Joanne in Rent), young nala and simba and a lot of ensemble...i might have got others but you can't tell who they are during the show. I was the only one at the stage door!! That's crazy. The cast was so nice. I told Patrick Page about the board and he said he will check it out sometime. Every Monday the cast goes to Put-in Bay on Lake Erie which I tought was cool. Young Nala was complaining she didn't want Chicken Noodle soup and I said "Can We Get This Girl What She Wants?!? She deserves it! lol" I had a blast! A night to remember.

I loved Fredu Walker as Rafiki, but, for me, Patrick Page was the definate stand-out in the cast.

He was really nice to me. Did you know he is married to the lady from trading spaces?

Yep. Mindy Paige Davis Page (that IS her real name now that she is married). I met them both when they were touring in Beauty and the Beast -- where they met.
They featured them in the TLC show "A Wedding Story".
