I live in CT, and currently, the Lion King is in Hartford and Movin' Out is in Wallingford. Which one do you recommend I see, as I don't want to see both because of money situations.

Posted: 5/11/06 at 4:14pmI am probably the only one who is going to tell you "The Lion King." I did enjoy the Gazelle tour when I saw it.

The Lion King.
It's beautiful & moving. I thoroughly enjoyed it & believe I could sit through it endless amounts of times. It's artistic & beautiful.

Posted: 5/11/06 at 8:54pmI haven't seen Movin' Out but I love the Cast Recording. It is coming here next season - can't wait - and Lion King came last season. I think Lion King is visually interesting, but it sort of leaves you wanting more in terms of script and music. But I still enjoyed myself. I'd probably take people to see it again because you get your money's worth in terms of like spectacle. But I would imagine Movin' Out isn't going to be touring for much longer.

Movin' Out.
Lion King tour isn't bad at all. But a lot of people of Movin'Out tour cast came directly from Broadway. It is very hard to find such a strong dancing essemble in tour cast.

I'm seeing Movin' Out in two weeks for my little brother's birthday. Even though its a gift for him, I'm very excited.
What's funny is I don't like listening to Billy Joel. However, I can listen to the Movin' Out cast recording for hours on end, one of the very rare CRs that I can listen to straight through. I never liked Billy's music until I heard the CR.
