My granddaughter attends school in Wisconsin and her class trip is to NYC in March. As it turns out, they will be seeing WICKED on her 17th birthday. Not only do I plan to be there with her birthday gift but I'm "Putting my hand in there" and bringing a fine young man I know to join us for dinner and the show in Hope's that they hit it off. Of course I'd like to save a few dollars on the tickets if possible."

As it turns out, the young man won't be joining us. He just left here (I'm helping him with his college applications and essays) and he told me that as my granddaughter's birthday is on St Patrick's Day, he won't be able to join us. He's Irish and that day is a big family celebration. He said it's like Christmas Eve all over again for them. Had it not been for that, he would have gladly joined us.
