Hi -

I've been looking at seats on Tickemaster - are there any BAD seats at the Minskoff??? And is it very very worth it to spend the $125 vs. the $85 - - I have to buy 5 tix, so that is a difference of about $200!

Any areas to stay away from? I have a 7 year old and want him to be able to see well.

also - is the best place to buy them on Tickemaster?

all orchestra seats in the Minskoff are good (no balcony overhang) just dont go too close to the front (stay about 5 rows back cause the stage is very high)

the front row of the balcony is further back than usual, but if you are up there, then you can still see everything.

I would recomend the orchestra section since youre willing to pay full price.

thanks for the info! Well I will pay for pricier seats if the $85 seats are not good. Are there any in Mez that are $85 that are any good?

I sat in the rear Mezz for the Lion King at the Minskoff. Not bad seats at all. golt to see a great view of the stage and not too far back.

as much as i usually love being as close as possible, tLK is one of those shows where being back a bit is actually preferable. I'd vote for front center mezz if you can find them.

Be careful, the animals will come close you if you sit in the orchestra. I cried when the CATS came into the aisles when I saw the show in the 80s.

I saw it back in 1999 - only a few days after I had to euthanize my Rhodesian Ridgeback, an African hound. So I cried off and on during the show for a variety of reasons - but not because I was too close to the animals. :)

We had third row orchestra - great seats.

I haven't seen the show in the Minskoff theatre, but I saw the show twice. I saw it at the New Amsterdam with balcony seats and on national tour with orchestra seats and I defiantly preferred the orchestra.

I just got mezz row F for Thursday night, and I also just realized that a row or two back would cost 30 bucks less. Anyway, do any of you guys know how center mezz row F at the Minskoff is? Thanks in advance
