Lippa's "Maybe I Like It This Way"

So I really love the song "Maybe I Like It This Way" from Lippa's THE WILD PARTY and of course I love Julia Murney's powerful rendition of the number but I always like listening to different versions of the same song. Anyone knows if there is any recording of this song out there apart from the OCR?

I would say probably not. It's not on the demo because it was like, the third version of that song (When I First Met Him/Burrs were two other versions). I have never heard of anyone else recording it.

EDIT: Apparently, as ljay889 said, Lisa Ostrow recorded it. Who is this person? She does Once Upon a Time from BKLYN and I Will Never Leave You from Side Show too.

Thanks, Ljay! I just found it. Not sure I wanna download it, who is this girl anyways? That's an awful rendition of "Unusual Way."

I went to her website, she's done some regional theatre, national tours. The clip of "Maybe I like it this way" sounds a lot better than her 'Unusual Way' clip. Apparently she sells quite well on CDbaby.

Yeah I went ahead and got "Maybe I Like It This Way," thanks for directing me to this. I really dislike her "Unusual Way" clip though.

This may sound harsh, but I feel I just spent 99 cents to buy one of those performances you see on youtube by a drama high school student.
She is good at times, her voice reminds me a little of Frances Ruffelle, a slightly bland, untrained, not very good Frances Ruffelle but still, sort of a similar sound. She decided to leave the spoken dialogue about Burrs and her deliver of it is amateurish at best.
Maybe I'm being overly harsh but since I paid for it and I'm obsessed with Murney's mind-blowing, heart-wrenching rendition, I feel I can be critical.

Yep. You have every right to be critical. I guess it's better than nothing though. Judging by her website, it seems she's just a regular mom/homemaker (who performs sometimes) living out her dream of recording an album.

This is from her site
