"Composer Lippa told Playbill.com that Will Chase (as Capt. Crewe) and Julia Murney (as Miss Minchin) will be heard on the disc, on the Ghostlight/Sh-K-Boom label. Chase and Murney were attached to the project in recent years. Lippa hopes for a CD release later in 2007."

I agree with marshmallow 100% We do need more cds with Will Chase!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What are the chances of bringing this to Broadway (with Will). That was my favorite movie as a child!

I miseread the title and thought it was Guettel's "Princess Bride", that's getting recorded. disappointment.
but Lippa's "the little princess", is a welcome cast recording too. I hope it will have life on professional stage soon. Lippa diserevs a broadway hit.
(so does Guettel, but that's another story)
