Lisa Howard

I have been saying this everytime Bee is mentioned, but Lisa is from Akron, OH...where I am from. I just learned that she got her start in a traveling show choir that I was a part of for about the same number of years as her. I still work with them, especially when they travel, but do not perform anymore. This is so exciting!

Then along came ETC, The All American Youth Show Choir. Lisa joined this performing group in junior high school and was a member for five years. It was here that she learned what performing was all about. This organization, founded and directed by Bob Heid, gave kids the chance to sing, dance, compete, and be a part of something really special. With this company, Lisa performed at festivals and competitions all across the country including: Philadelphia, Chicago and Washington D.C.. They even ventured to Great Britain for a two week tour. In addition to ETC, Lisa was very active in her own high school's performing arts program. She was a member of the Madrigal group for four years and both the symphonic and jazz choirs.

I LOVE Lisa Howard. She sounds so amazing on the Bee recording and is just a wonderful person and performer.

Can anyone tell me how old she is? What year she graduated from Firestone or CCM?

ETC my senior year of high school was like, my sister/brother showchoir - we started having the same musical directors and myself and anohter girl from their show choir planned some social events, etc. together...I'm insanely curious to find out if she was there when I was in my showchoir - that'd be INSANE!

Plus it's crazy how much her resume is almost parallel to mine in roles she's played...I love that I feel like I have possibly a new person who's material I can look to for auditions, etc. because their type is so similar to mine - zah for Lisa Howard, her voice is so amazing, I can't wiat to hear more from/of her!

She has such a great voice.
Spelling Bee wouldn't be the same without her.
I mean, what's "The I Love You Song" without Lisa?
She's fantastic.
