I've been seeing shows for over 35 years and have attended over 1000 Broadway, Off-Broadway and regional productions. Suffice to say, I won't even attempt to make a list (and couldn't come up with a complete one if I tried).

I live in Indiana, so I don't have the luxury of seeing a Broadway show once a week.

I've seen about 500 shows in the past 5 years alone. I can't even begin to imagine trying to type out a list going back to 1970.

Well, I grew up in New York and still try to go to NYC once a year, so I've seen quite a lot of shows. I'll just name my top five favorite nights on Broadway (in no particular order):

The Phantom of the Opera (4x, also my first B'way show)
Les Miserables (3.5x--the .5 being when I "second-acted" it)
Jekyll and Hyde (3x)
The Light in the Piazza
Death of a Salesman (w/Brian Dennehy)
