Between the three plays, which should I see??
Agree with the above - Indecent is definitely the best choice.
(Not to disparage the other two, they're both great, although the quality of Little Foxes greatly depends on which company you see)
All three are worth seeing. But in this order:
Little Foxes - one of the great American plays being given its due with a grand and satisfying production (caveat: I saw Linney as Regina and Nixon as Birdie)
Sweat - a fantastic new play and a thematically perfect contemporary counterpoint to Little Foxes in what it has to say about the U.S. and corporate greed. The direction is generally great but for me there are some unfortunate awkward segues between scenes.
Indecent - an important but uneven new play with extraordinarily fine lighting and direction (there's a reason it won those Tonys). It should also be said that some find it incomparably moving. I have never heard audience members break down in tears like I did the night I saw it. For my taste, Vogel (with Taichman) put too much into this play where somewhat less might have proved a great deal more (not a fan of the way the play encompasses the Holocaust), but Taichman's direction is exquisite.
