I'm pretty sure they only have rush for weekday performances. That used to be the case, I don't know if it still is because they're not selling as well as they used too.

I've seen the show 12 times (I know a bit too much for Mermaid). They DO rush for the weekends as well as weekday performances and I've gotten rush tickets up to an hour before curtain on a Saturday night.
Marissa2, I wouldn't worry too much about not getting rush tickets for tomorrow. Mermaid rarely has a line when the box office opens. Even for Heidi and Sierra's last performances,I was nervous and got there early for both and there were 3 people before me at Heidi's and there was no line at all for Sierra's, which was surprising. Students run in there the whole day and run out with tickets. At 10am they start with the front row and then sell whatever they have left over. Rushing it 12 times I have never had a bad seat. So get there as early as possible just to be safe, but you will get tickets.

Do you think that will apply in August? I'm rushing it on the 19th, a week before it closes, and i'm wondering if I should just go ahead and get a ticket.
