Little Mermaid Stagedoor?

I know I said that I wouldn't write anymore about the Little Mermaid, but at least I actually started a new thread instead of doing something like when another member started talking about Wicked in the 9 to 5 thread.
Anyway, has anyone been there recently since Drew Seeley started in the show? Does he come out/sign/photos? What about the rest of the cast?

No, they are all too sad.
Sorry, couldn't resist.

I was there last month because my sister wanted to see it before it closed. It was the CRAZIEST stage door I've ever seen in my life. Never have I ever seen a mob like that. Drew does come out and sign. We saw all the principals with the exception of Prince and Maynard.
But never have I seen a ruder group of people. I had secured a spot for my sister and this ADULT WOMAN literally knocked her out of the way. This same woman was in the way of any picture my sister wanted taken and I tried saying "Excuse me" and tapping her on the shoulder just to ask her to move aside so that I could take a picture of my sister with some of the performers. I was completely ignored and some of the pictures came out like crap. I recommend avoiding the stage door at all costs. It was a horrible experience.

Posted: 8/8/09 at 11:40pmI think that I will be able to handle it(I hope!) Its probably gonna be really crazy closing performance but luckily I have like the back of the orchestra so I will reserve my spot. And if I survived the stagedoor at LBB's last show, I can pretty much do anything.

Posted: 8/8/09 at 11:42pmI was at Little Mermaid 2 weeks ago and Drew was incredible. He literally stayed for about 30 minutes signing anything the fans wanted and taking many many photos. He was incredibly grateful. Chelsea seemed to be in a rush and didnt want to take the time to greet many fans. Faith Prince did not exit through the stage door.

Posted: 8/8/09 at 11:43pmI saw a matinee last month. Fortunately, the stagedoor was not too crazy. Drew came out, signed, and took pics for a long time (he was the last one out) Chelsea came out right away and was very quick. Regelio Douglas, Major Curda, and Robert Creighton were the only others who signed.

Posted: 8/8/09 at 11:47pmI haven't heard from one person yet that Faith Prince came out the stagedoor. I don't get it either since Disney was like shoving down everyone's throat that she was playing Ursula and she doesn't even come out. I have seen the show 2 times since she started and she didn't come out either time. Hopefully last show. (I'm praying!)

My friend went on Wednesday night and didn't see Faith either.
I wasn't that disappointed that she didn't come out because I met her last year when she did Catered Affair. But, other that Drew, it was Faith that my sister really wanted to see.

There's no requirement for her to come out. Maybe she doesn't like kids. And what does Disney promoting her joining the cast have to do with an individual coming out at SD?

Posted: 8/8/09 at 11:53pmI know there is no requirement, but if someone saw the ad for Faith Prince and really liked in her in another production she did and went to see the show for her and then went to the stagedoor because they wanted to meet her, it would be kind of disappointing for that person. (If that makes any sense)

Posted: 8/8/09 at 11:57pmIf I was Faith I wouldn't come out either. I'd have to think she'd never experienced a stage door like that before and has no desire to do so.

Posted: 8/8/09 at 11:57pmSo? It's not part of the ticket price. Disappointed would be if they purchased a ticket just to see her and she was out that day.

Posted: 8/9/09 at 9:28amWDWfreak, you're making it sound like that there is a requirement for leads to stage door when that isn't the case at all. Keep in mind that they don't have to and they aren't allowed to be forced to do it either. It is totally optional.
