Does anyone know if/when TLM will go on tour?
Prolly but since the economy is "soft" so to speak, it might not happen. They don't want to risk something that could loose money or spend money the production company does not currently have... yet. TLM on Broadway is doing so-so or just ok. When it open it had done very well. I just think they are gonna hold off until things get better or more interest come up.

Actually as far as I know they are going to tour it. They're just working on getting Mary Poppins out first. I would imagine Disney to be least effected by the current economy.

If they do it Heidi as Ursula on tour would be AMAZING.
Disney is being effected by the economy, though maybe not as much as others. There was one day in January where the Parks had only a 27% attendance.

Stephanie - that percentage is incorrect. I can tell you for a fact the Walt Disney World Resort has seen no decrease whatsoever. The only park that is struggling with attendance is the troubled Disney's California Adventure, which is currently under a billion dollar overhall. California Adventure has had troubled attendance numbers for years. Disney really isn't feeling anything, though they are preparing for the worst.

Mrs. Rodriguez, if you keep up those gross comments, I'm going to have to ask to be transferred to another senior.

Who said anything about Disney World? Judging by the capitalization, I'm guessing the poster was referring to the BWW member. Maybe his attendance rating did go down 27% one day in January.

Well transfer to another senior, Sonny Boy. I'll find me one that looks like Brad Pitt.

Ma'am, you've had six different helpers in the past three months...I don't know if you're going to be welcome here at Shady Pines anymore.

Good! Transfer me to the Harmonia Gardens. I hear the food is better there. I loves me their roast suckling pig!

I'm telling you one more time, Mrs. Rodriguez, there is no such place as the Harmonia Gardens.
Seniors...watch movies and think they're real...

That's not true, Pajama Guy and you know it. I've been to the Harmonia Gardens many times. My friend Stanley works there. (He's the one with the big ears).

Most likely after Mary Poppins is done with its first nat'l tour.
I'm sorry, but this thread is literally making me laugh out loud, which is bad because I'm having a fairly bad nosebleed and it's pretty disgusting. And PG2, I will forever think of you as Pajama Guy now.
I do think it will tour. The question is when. Yes, Disney is feeling the blow of the current economic crisis just like the rest of us are. Yes, Disney is looking at moving their world of Disney store on Fifth due to the fact that the landlords have raised the rent. But, I think that things like that wouldn't stop them from touring Poppins. Keep in mind, they just co produced the Poppins tour in England not that long ago. I think that if they could co produce one tour of Poppins, then they can do another tour of Poppins.
