My friend went to go see it tonight -- I tried to get tix last minute tonight, but alas, it was sold out. I'm going to buy tickets ASAP, though. I've been anticipating this show and I MUST see it.

I went to the first preview and will say that they have a great show at the Virginia.. tremendous amounts of energy - amazing cast - 1st previews really had no bumps and it will only get better...

I made some more comments on ATC...

I have a friend who saw the first preview and a friend who is there tonight. Friend who saw the first preview had nothing but praise about the production... cast and direction. My friend who's there tonight called during intermission and adored the first act. Sounds like it's one hell of a show! I can't wait to go!

Okay folks, I know you are awaiting my review but I am still pondering what I want to say, so as to be as fair to the new production as possible. Stay tuned. I will say that I was NOT blown away. I wasn't miserable either, but having seen the original with the genius that was Ellen Greene and Lee Wilkoff, I had a hard time getting their indelible performances out of my head. I will give a full review later.
