I've always wondered whether or not there was an earlier version of the poster with Seymoure or someone holding the dead Audrey. There's a phantom hand right under her arm and another hand by her legs, but there is no person attatched. Has anyone else ever noticed this or have any insight?

Byrd's website has nearly all his theatre posters and while there are separate concept ones for Follies and some other shows, nothing else for Little Shop. It's one of my faves of his, though (for what it's worth.)

That's really an inspired logo.
This is probably a dumb question, but before the Shuberts, et al picked up the show and moved it to the Orpheum, was the Byrd logo used for the first WPA production?
