I have a question for those who saw the little shop tour...
This may seem a kind of naive question, but did they use recording for music or was the music live but not visible?
Its been bugging me for months, and this is one of the times where i couldnt tell...grr.

The music is definitely live. The orchestra is, most likely, located under the stage, as it is in most theaters. I think if it was recorded, the musicians' union (whatever it's called) would be up in arms. Updated On: 1/27/05 at 10:44 PM

Yeah, its definately live. Often times the band isn't in the pit, they may be backstage or under, like joshua said
thats the idea thati was leaning towards... lol... i didnt think anyone could be that well timed. I guess im just used to seeing the orchestra.
It should also be in your playbill on who were the people who played the intruments and if they were part of the tour or from your local area.
must of missed that part when i read it... or i didnt see it.. so ill check.
I would assume it's live
I hope the tour comes near me, I loved the broadway version; wish it didn't close so soon.
