Little Women in San Jose

This was one of the best shows I have seen since..... I honestly can't remember when! I saw the show Tuesday night. This show has just the right mix of everything! Everyone in the cast is wonderful. Especially Kate Fisher. In fact I love the show so much I found a fantastic ticket deal and I am seeing it again tommorow afternoon!! Does anyone out there in Broadwayland know if any of the understudies perform during Saturday Matinee? Thanks

Look for student deals. I got 50% percent off the ticket and I am sitting in the 7th row! There is no way I am going to be able to sleep tonight!

I really really hope Kate's understudy isn't on! I really want to see her perform again. Crud, I probably just jinxed myself.

re: Little Women in San Jose

I already saw it twice in Sacramento. :) I didn't love it, but I liked it a lot!

Also, we saw Susan Spencer and Kate Fisher up in Sacto. I'm not sure who I liked better. So don't worry if you end up seeing Susan. You will not get shortchanged.

I saw an understudy for Kate during a matinee, but she was fabulous. Can't remember her name though. Honestly she was awesome though!

It's Susan Spencer. Of the standbys, she's the only one who covers Jo.

I saw her on a Sunday matinee, but I've heard that Kate usually takes one weekday off.

re: Little Women in San Jose

Just got back from seeing the show again! The seats were fantastic and the show was even better the second time around! I did get to meet Kate Fisher but managed to make a complete doofus of myself in front of her. It was kind of a hollow victory.

re: Little Women in San Jose

it is a very good show
ive only seen it on broadway once, and no times during the tour
it was pretty sad though- we were supposed to see it on a sunday at the end of may, but it closed a week before the date we were gonna see it (closed may 22...supposed to have seen it may 29) re: Little Women in San Jose

re: Little Women in San Jose

I checked the theatre website! It was a hunch that worked out pretty darn well.
I am so sorry the show closed before you got to see it again! I hope you get a chance to see it again some day.
