I like the music, it seems like a different era, not the pop stuff we've been hearing lately. It reflects the book, it seems.

And Sutton sounds great!

This music is beautiful with the blending harmonies. I like that it's piano based.

It's definitely a different approach. Lately, the Broadway hits have been relatively contemporary rock / popish musicals and this seems to bring Broadway back a few decades. We'll see how it does. Sutton sounds great.

J-Pill, only these song samples are piano-based... as explained on the site...

"These are not from the official cast album. These are from a sampler CD circulated among professionals and investors who are interested in working with the show. In most cases all you will hear is the actors and an accompanying piano. Since this is still a work in progress, there might be changes to the music or the lyrics from what you hear in these samples to what you'll hear in the final show."

How do you even GET the samples. I dont even see the link to get them. All I see is the logo (big) and a link to telecharge...help lol

The clips didn't work for me when I used Netscape, but they do with IE.

If you are using IE, make sure you have the latest version of the Real Player - it can be the free one.

wow this is awesome! My grandmother and I have a tradition that every year we go see one broadway show together for Christmas...I think I've picked this years show! Wow I can't wait!

Sutton is just amazing, as per usual, and I'm excited to see how this is staged!

Wow. Those are surprisingly great sound clips. Astonishing is well...astonishing! Sutton sounds wonderful in it as well as Better and the other songs she sings. I am beginning to think maybe this might be her Tony year again.
