Will there ba an audience? I noticed that seats are not on sale for that evening...but is there another way to be in the audience?
Also does this mean it going to be out on DVD? Is it already out on DVD?
The performance on June 15th will be broadcast live from the Vivian Beaumont on PBS stations (hence, "Live from Lincoln Center").
The performance, like all Live from Lincoln Center broadcast, is the exclusive ownership of Lincoln Center, not PBS, so unlike the Great Perfomances series, it will not be released on DVD.
So, fire up those VCR's and DVD recorders - you'll only get one chance to capture this for posterity(two if your region repeats the broadcast the following Sunday as they do in NYC).
Nope. Live at Lincoln Center broadcasts are never released on homevideo/DVD, et al. "Contact", "Twelth Night", etc. were never released.
I, as others will be doing, will tape/DVR this and put it on DVD ourselves.
Thanks so much for the help :)
Tickets are on sale for the June 15th show (Telecharge.com).
