This man seriously hurt a friend of mine. He acted maliciously with my poor friend and everyone told me at the time "That's just Garth." Well, this is Garth. A convicted and sentenced fraud artist; a man who ravaged several entertainment industries, leaving numerous victims in his wake. He screwed people. He stole. He lied. He cheated. And now, he'll do some richly-deserved time for it. I for one could not be happier.

Posted: 8/6/09 at 8:17amThe sentencing shocked me, I'm not saying that they didn't deserve it as they most certainly did. After Madoff, there are going to be many "examples" in jail who would've played the college circuits not too long ago.

Posted: 8/6/09 at 1:25pmMadoff stole from the rich. Drabinsky had numerous victims who were blue collar, as well as the rich. He ran a theater festival that went tits up and bankrupted many, many small suppliers. He was kicked out of his job with Cineplex Odeon for questionable practices and then from LiveEnt. See a pattern here? This guy only ploughs his fields in one direction.

I guess this means there won't be a third season of Garth's Triple Sensation (the reality/documentary style Canadian TV show to find a "triple threat" performer). It is one of the best produced competition shows I have ever seen.
