Liza Minnelli as Dorothy Brock in 42 Street.

Well I was listening to the score earlier and it just occured to me.. Liza would be perfect as Dorothy Brock. And the show could sure use a name to help the box office. And I just saw her sing at the Kander and ebb tribute so I know she can do it. Anyway... if I knew her I would tell her. So instead I just thought I would put it on this board and put it out there. This makes a hell of a lot more sense than her playing Judy Garland in "Oz"

If Liza does 42 nd St,maybe David Gest could play Julian Marsh or even the female lead. Imagine both of them on the same stage. They could be reading phone books & people would still pay to see it

If this fails, how about a 12 rounder in Caesar's Palace

I think she would actually do a great job. Another great choice is Glenn Close- whoever it is, I think they should get a star in the role to help the box office.

Dorothy Brock is a great role. I wonder if Liza will ever come back to the stage? I would love to see that.

And I imagine Liza name would be a huge draw to the tourists. And since the show is all about showbiz I think it is apaerfect match. I hope some power at be has the brains to do this.
