Even though red was Gwen's "natural" color, I always felt it was the right choice for the devil's minion to be red headed, just as I loved the fact that Applegate sported red socks.
And the last Lola I saw (can't remember her name, but she did the show with Tony Randall) was a blonde.
This show uses the great American sport of Baseball to glamorize santanism. Avoid it.
pssssst... hey AmericaRight.... get a life!
When we did Damn Yankees in high school, our Lola was a brunette. And our Applegate wore all red, all the time. We had a great seamstress doing our costumes, and she found him all these really cool suits and jackets and ties in various shades of red.
That's right AmericanRight. I love baseball, so I thought I would check out Damn Yankees. Now I am a practicing satanist! Who knew?

LOL! Very funny stuff "AmericanRight" or are you really my long lost "WickedPhantom"?
What about "Bell, Book and Candle" or "Lestat"?
I was Lola. I am blonde.

I always thought it would be cool for Lola's hair to change constantly. Brunette when she puts on her fake Spanish accent for "Whatever Lola Wants", then blonde, then redhead - a new wig for every scene!

I don't think it really matters. As long as the audience gets the part about where she comes from, be it through costuming or whatever, it'll work with any hair color.
