Anyone know where I can get my hands on these?
The cast recording of Lolita, My love and that private pressing of Breakfast at Tiffany's with Mary Tyler Moore
and while Im at it, anyone ever seen a French recording of How to succeed? I saw in Footlights (when they still had a store) once but it was more than my milk money.
anyone have any ideas or heard them?
Lolita is out of print
Breakfast cast album was never made as the show never opened

I kinda knew that about Lolita, but there is/was an underground pressing of Mary Tyler Moore and Richard Chamberlain, I've seen it.
There IS a recording of BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY's. I believe it's out of print and not with the original cast, but there IS one.

I have the studio recording of the score with Faith Prince. Im talking about a recording of the original broadway cast.
I think you can get the "World Premiere Cast Recording" of Breakfast at Tiffanys on amazon.com.
It features Faith Prince, Hal Linden, Jonathan Freeman, Ron Raines, and Patrick Cassidy.
I have the Tiffanys recording Munk refers to but since the show crapped out an official cast album was never made
What you may refer to is an illegal one & good luck in that regard
OBC of Breakfast at Tiffany's was never recorded - however there is a studio cast recording (2 Disc) made in 2001 and it is still available at Barnes and Noble:

Hmmm. An underground recording of Breakfast at Tiffany's must be a real collector's item.
I finally listened to Subways Are For Sleeping the other day. Ick. I think it's fun though to listen to flops. You get to hear the good bits shining through the muck, and just how bad things got. It's fun in a way.
That said, I am off to see Mimi le Duck today. Hehe.
There is indeed an Original Cast Recording of HOLLY GOLIGHTLY/BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S with Mary Tyler Moore and Richard Chamberlain on LP. Not officially released nor recorded, but it does exist.
It is simply a horrible quality audience audio recording transfered onto LP and which has circulated in the underground 'bootleg' collector's world for decades. I believe it's an entire performance and not just the songs/numbers.
Ken Mandelbaum also wrote about it on his hugely missed Broadway.com section when the studio recording of SHERRY! was being released and while mentioning the studio recording of BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S with Faith Prince.
I got it years ago & the quality does leave something to be desired
