Lombardi for a 12 year old?

Hey guys, my nephew is not very interested in theatre. He told me I wants to see Lombardi. I have heard it is very boring and I told him but he still wants to for some reason. So I will take him if it is appropriate. If it isnt may I ask for some ideas for other shows? He has saw Lion King,Poppins,and The Addams Family. Thanks for your help.

I would definitely say that it should be fine. At very worst, using a film rating, I would say "PG-13". It isn't boring - it's just a straight play with a small number of actors. Inventive and perfect use of projections. Great for a boy who hasn't been interested in theatre. It would be a nice, easy introduction. There was a boy of maybe 8 next to me at the show sat and watched without a peep.

Ok thank you. I heard that it is boring from a friend. But there is nothing like over the top cursing right? Like if there is a few uses of a "word" then I dont care. (He has probabky said or heard it before). But like no nudity right?

No, nothing like that. I think it's actually the shows website that says it's appropriate for all ages.

Ok thank you. But if you guys have any other broadway suggestions please share! If Lombardi doesnt work out I need another show! But for the people above thanks!
