I'm heading to London for about ten days in May 2025. I am planning to see 5-6 shows while I'm there. I'm in New York a lot, so I don't want to see anything that's easy to see in New York (Moulin Rouge, Hadestown, etc). Any show recommendations would be welcome!
Definitely see My Neigbour Totoro, its brilliant.
If you can make it here before the 3rd of May - Benjamin Button (although hopefully it will extend)
Richard the II with Jonathan Bailey is due to close on the 10th.
Here We Are will be playing at the National by then if that's your thing.

Giant, starring John Lithgow, at the Harold Pinter.
Stereophonic, transferring to the Duke of York sometime in May
The Brightening Air, a new play by Conor McPherson at the Old Vic.
In addition to those, Ewan McGreggor has a new production of “My Master Builder” at the Wyndhams. There’s also two new smaller musicals I’m looking forward to in May - “Stiletto” at the Charing Cross and a musical version of “Midnight Cowboy” at Southwark Playhouse Elephant.

Wanted to see if anybody had anything to add for recommendations for a London trip I'm taking 4/23-4/30? I will definitely look into the what was posted above!
So far, top of my list are the following. I probably will add 2 plays, just not sure yet which ones.
Totoro
Titanique
Benjamin Button
I saw Here We Are, in NY so I probably will skip it in London.
Thank you in advance!
