ArtMan said: "They have what is called day seats which is our equivalent of rush. The difference there, at least the last time i was there (about 4 years ago), nobody lines up early. I "day seated" Deathtrap In January cold weather two hours early and was the only one in line. The next day I "day seated" Flashdance and arrived 10 minutes before box office and again no one was there. I guess it also depends on the show."
It definitely depends on the show. Those 2 shows arent particularly popular. For Matilda, which i queued for a few weeks ago, i was there at 7:40am and was first in line for about 5 minutes until someone else came along. There was about 20 people in line by 9:30am.
I recommend the TodayTix lottery for A Winters Tale. Its quite easy to win as not too many people know about it and the play is just fantastic!
Theatre Monkey is a fantastic guide the everyone should use when day queueing in London as its information is gathered by people who tweet in what time they got in the queue and how many people are in it.
Id love to know what shows youre seeing! I hope you have a great time!
