I saw it a few years ago on Lifetime. It was better than I thought it would be. It was more time appropriate than the Field/Woodward version which seemed to take place in the late 60s, early 70s; whereas the Lange/Blanchard version is closer to the timeline in the book (1920s-1950s). Lange and Blanchard give excellent performances but it suffers from the shortened version. I wish it had been a four-hour version.
