Actually...it IS GETTING BETTER.
Yesterday, the reports were 60% chance of showers...and this morning my Weatherbug now says "Partly Cloudy With 40% chance of showers"
Postive thoughts, kids.

Posted: 9/20/06 at 9:48amActually the beginning of the week said partly cloudy. Today CBS says chance of rain, NBC says showers, and ABC says a couple of possible showers. I'll go with ABC !!

Pray to the theater Gods for good weather
Neither rain, nor sleet etc etc. I will be there so I want good weather
re: Looking Forward to The Flea Market#79
Posted: 9/20/06 at 8:48pmI don't have a choice whether or not to be there, so it better not rain!

Sam Champion (swoon!) says it's going to be a warm, cloudy day.
That means it'll be a warm, cloudy day.

Posted: 9/20/06 at 9:09pmWorry ye not, Roxy. We've met before but I didn't identify myself because I felt you were beneath me. I'll probably do the same thing this Sunday. You just don't meet my standards...no offense meant.

Look for me in the blue hoodie with the words "Team Murney" on the back.
Would love to meet you, Roxy and Dollypop and everyone else.
Anyone setting themselves on a budget? I'm thinking 100$ for the day.

I usually have to set myself on a budget, because I could be totally out of control.
But I'm still super excited. It's my favorite BC/EFA event of the year
re: Looking Forward to The Flea Market#90
Posted: 9/21/06 at 4:54pmI would advise all first-timers so bring a lot of cash in different bill denominations. It is possible to pay for the celebrity line with credit card but it takes awhile and waiting at the booth to get change is also a big time waster. Go to the ATM before getting there.

Theatertrash, if you'd like to meet me, please answer the following questions:
1. How much love and adoration to you have for Carol Channing?
2. How many times have you seen Carol in HELLO, DOLLY!
3. Do you attend church regularly?
4. What's you annual income?
5. Which social registers are you listed in?
6. What are your favorite restaurants in Europe?
7. How often do you visit Corine's Corner?
8. How do you feel about snow globes?
9. Do you enjoy watching re-runs of WILL AND GRACE just to see Eric McCormack?
10. Do you agree with me that David Wright is the sexiest man in sports today?
After reviewing your answers to these questions, I'll decide whether I want to meet you.
Thank you very much.

I just have afew questions about the celebrity table. I went to the flea market last year but I didn't do this so:
I saw the list on the site and I'm interested in going from 12:00-12:50. What time should I line up? Also, it says only 2 items per person...does that mean I can only bring 2 items w/ me or for every person at the table, you can only have them sign 2 things? Also, do the actors stay the full 50 minutes? What would happen if I'm in line, and I paid, and now its 12:51 and some start to leave...? Sorry for all the questions but I'm really excited to go but was just bothered by this...
re: Looking Forward to The Flea Market#94
Posted: 9/22/06 at 7:02amI would say get in line like a half hour before whatever time you want to go. It takes awhile to get to the front of line and pay. You're pretty much out of luck if somebody leaves when you're going down the line. They always also take people to the photo booth during their 50 minutes and if someone is taking pics and you wanted their autograph, sometimes security lets you wait at the end of the line for them to come back and sometimes they just make you leave. Each person will sign up to 2 items of your choice. You can bring 2 separate items if you want to and have the means to schlep them around Shubert Alley. There is also a Broadway Flea Market poster on sale for $20 if you'd prefer to have them sign that.

Just posted on bcefa.org:::
Note: The 20th Annual Broadway Flea Market is currently scheduled to go on rain or shine. If Sunday morning brings truly terrible weather, a decision will be at that time about postponing the event. Full details will be made available on the website.
however, all the weather stations are saying rain towards the later part of the day so we should be ok...
