Hooray for Futurity! I hope that wasn't the last we'll see of it. I'm surprised Tappin' Thru Life got in there but it was a fun show. Not having seen most of the other shows, I hope Maurice Hines gets the choreography win.

Robber Bridegroom was great and Women Without Men was pretty good but how in the hell did CSC's Mother Courage sneak in there?

I'm surprised Michael Luwoye was the one remembered for Invisible Thread but it's nice to see that show remembered. Also, yay for Gabriel Ebert in Preludes though I don't think either will get the win.

It's wonderful to see some love for the actresses of First Daughter Suite though you could make an argument about lead vs. featured. Nice to see the actors recognized for featured actor/actress in a musical though aside from Leslie Kritzer, I think there were stronger performances this season.

Futurity is very competitive for scenic design to me. Costume design is harder to call, especially not having seen 3 of those shows.

It would have been nice to see The Royale pick up some acting nominations but sound design definitely feels justified.
