Today's 2:30pm performance was cancelled, due to an automation issue with the turntable on which the play takes place.

I have tix for the second of Suzan-Lori Parks' Red Letter Plays at Signature tonight--I'm very much looking forward to it! I just got off the phone with the box office to ask whether or not there was an intermission. I was informed that "they were going back and forth", but there would be no intermission "for tonight's show" (so I guess that's subject to change if you're going a different night). Just thought I'd let everyone know so you know what you're in for! :)

Don't they typically announce ties all at once? I remember when Lauren Worsham and Anika Larsen both won, they went up together, right?

The awards are tonight! Yay! Anybody know if it's possible to live stream them?

As I've been finalizing my predictions over the course of the last few days, I've been thinking that if there was a 5th nomination, it would go to American Psycho...but now as I think about it, I'm wondering if it may go to Bright Star. I know what a major role nat'l tour potential plays in these nominations. While I absolutely LOVED both shows (and would be pleased if either were nominated), it seems unlikely that it would successfully tour. However, I think Bright Star could do very well on...

This doesn't exactly answer the question, but I think a tie in this category is extremely likely. I'm not sure if we will see a tie in Leading Actor (curious what others think about this), but I feel very confident that there will be 6 nominees, allowing nominations for both Cusack & Soo.

IMO, two of the biggest question marks are Phillipa vs. Carmen and Alex vs. Zachary. I'd like to see ties in these categories, but I'm not sure whether or not that will happen. I think Alex and Zachary could really go either way and there's no rhyme or reason to why one will be nominated over the other. However, with the ladies, they could go with Carmen as a way to recognize Bright Star since it probably won't nab a Best Musical nom. Also, those voters who are annoyed with the Hamilton madne...

I agree with JBroadway, especially on the DEH front! I'm completely shocked and disappointed that Ben didn't get nominated. If that's not a tour de force performance, I don't know what is. He leaves his whole heart and soul on that stage. The whole show is so beautiful, so it's really too bad it didn't get Outstanding Musical. At least Rachel Bay Jones got a nom! :)

I'm so happy for Rachel—she was incredible and I couldn't believe the lack of love she got at the other awards. I'm surprised by how little attention Tuck is getting. Also, Playwrights Horizons got so much recognition at the other awards—not so much here. I'm also surprised by the fact that Tavi Gevinson hasn't gotten any nominations. I thought at least one of the awards would nominate her. She's incredible in The Crucible.

I went to this show last night and was absolutely blown away!! So beautiful, powerful, and uplifting—and what incredible performances! I'm crossing my fingers a cast album is produced—the music was gorgeous!!! Was anybody else there? If so, thoughts?
