well the pantages and wicked is already there. i think its funny how drowsy chaperone is right next to that in the picture, yet really that is a parking lot. do they really intend to build a new theatre directly next to the pantages?

Missy thats an artist rendering of Broadway in Downtown LA. The pantages is on sunset blvd in hollywood. I think they were putting up show marquis to give a sense of NYC in Downtown LA.

The shows on the billboards have nothing to do with anything. They were just used to show that 'maybe' there will be a billboard there.

And, since it is LA's Broadway, they just picked some current shows.

That's it.

Whither in the heat?

Shows don't work in Vegas, unless they are HUGE and SPLASHY!!!

Theatre is going to migrate West. Never away from New York, but we will be getting some more theatres.

This is LA...

When have they ever had an original idea?

At first, they will do shows that sell, which are all of the name shows. They have to make sure it works first.

THEN they will branch out.

And then, there have been many shows that started here, and then went to NY. I think it would be great if they started out here and then stayed.
