Lost Color Purple Tickets

Hey friends. I bought my ticket to see The Color Purple on April 21st at the BOX OFFICE and paid CASH! I had a full day of shows to see and I believe to have lost my ticket. What do I do ? Will they do anything even though I paid cash? Help!

at the venue i work at (not a Broadway House), we are required to create an account for each transaction, whether the customer paid cash or not. When I paid cash for my Color Purple ticket, I'm fairly certain they asked to see my ID so thy could create an account for the order. (FYI whenever I pay cash, I always take my receipt but have them hold the ticket at the Box Office)

Do you know where your seat was? It's worth going to the box office to ask if they can help you. Do you not have a receipt?

I don't believe so. If they did, everything was in the slip which I don't have because I feel like such an idiot! I've been wanting to see this show for a month and I had the cash for it when I bought my ticket yesterday. I remember my seat and I remember the guy who sold it to me. I'm currently on on hold for Telecharge Customer Service. I don't know how good that is, but, I'm seriously worried and believe I messed up completely.

Are you not able to go back to the box office in person? They'll be able to help you more than Telecharge. Especially since you know your seat.

I live in Pennsylvania. I'm only 16 years old, so I take the bus to and from which is $88 for round trip. But the guy just told me I should go back down there since there no proof of purchase. I have nothing for them to track...

Telecharge cant help you with a ticket they didn't sell you.

But yes, the best thing is to go to the box office. Not that that helps you much now, I realize. Best of luck.
