Depends on the show, it should tell you when you enter. Usually the end time and the announce-time are the same.

4 hours prior to showtime for TodayTix lottos (except for Public Theatre's, which is noon).
2 pm for the ones that require you to sign up with social media (so Evan Hansen/Anastasia/Phantom/SOR etc.) no matter if it is 7 pm showtime or 8 pm.
Hamilton lottery says 11 am the day before performance, but I always get it anywhere between 9 am and 11 am.
Book of Mormon and Kinky Boots are at 12:30 pm the day prior to the performance, but you'll probably get an email anywhere in between 11 am and 12:30 pm (similar to Hamilton lotto; they're all Lucky Seat lottos)
Broadway Direct lotteries are at 9:00 am across the board, unless it's a two-show day, then I think it's 11:00 am for evening (or maybe 2 pm, I'm not entirely sure, sorry!).
You might want to doublecheck with your lottery of choice, though :)
