I went today and asked about tickets for Easter Monday (when I next plan to be in London) and there were rear stalls, rear circle or upper circle available. I think it is a bit cheeky how much the upper circle is for this show (£47.50) I remember it being terrible when I saw Evita and Joseph from up there and that was at about £15 a seat on GILT or similar.
Don't worry too much Mark_E. It is my opinion and my main concern is that the upper circle tickets aren't that much cheaper than the top price ones. I think I was further back than Row K for Evita too. I am the kind of person that would rather be too close than too far away too.
If this was the original 'Evita' 'Cats' 'Starlight' etc etc then you guys wouldn't be talking about getting tickets for 4 weeks into the run 2 weeks before it open's- says it all really!
Your point about the artwork is interesting. The poster has recently been amended to add a 'Phantom' logo at the bottom. Also RUT are not using their normal designers for this show, which is a first I think.
