LuPone/Cerveris Passion question

Hello BroadwayWorlders:

Does anyone know where I can buy or view a copy of the 2005 LuPone Cerveris version of "Passion" that was broadcast on PBS?

I can't seem to find it on sale anywhere... do copies float around ebay? Is there a rental house that carries it?

Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, there is no legal copy of it on DVD. But, that doesn't mean that people don't sell it. Use Google.

I have this on videocassette. I was fortunate to have recorded it when it originally aired. In fact, I just rewatched it this past week. I like the staging in this better than in the DVD I saw. It was sparse and it allowed you to use your imagination.

Nope. It doesn't look like they have it for sale. I have been looking all over for it!

I taped it, but that was before i used DVDs to record from tv and I only have it on vhs, and no longer own a vcr, which doesn't really make me much help. Try writing to PBS and see if they will release it, its worth a shot.

Hey, I'm scared I will get kicked off if I post links here but I know 3 very reliable bootleg websites that have tons and tons of great quality bootlegs and 1 of them has Passion, which I'm ordering this week hopefully.

That kind of post will most definitely get you kicked off. Bootlegs are illegal.

I would love to listen to this copy, but I am afraid of hearing Patti sing the part that I treasure hearing Murphy and Friedman sing...hmmm

I viewed a clip of it on YouTube.com, and that is what made me want to see the rest.
Perhaps if you look at the same clip I did, it will help you decide.
