What's the saying about the first step to solving a problem being to acknowledge that you've got one? Seriously though, it's nice to have her singing again in a show.

WOW! What a frank and brave article! At least the lady has the sense to be honest about herself and a real grip on this industry. She has obviously learned a lesson from her "diva-ness"...a fine example for others as they do their "mirror, mirror in the wall" routine each morning.
It's tough enough on male Broadway actors over their prime age. It's unforgiving for the gals! I hope she does well with her comeback.

One error that I found, a little show call "Pal Joey" which Ms. Lupone did at Encores! a few years ago. So much for not doing a musical in NY for 17 years.
I love her but get the facts correct.
We expect that from our government but not our divas.

A friend of mine is working on this production. She is constantly in awe of Patti. She was never a giant fan of hers before but, after seeing her work, she is beyond impressed. A true talent.
