Posted: 10/16/08 at 5:23pmWow...got the British boy Trent in the part and he was amazing...apparently, they'd just put the finale back in and that worked well...scored a front mezz ticket on Craigs List for $50 (check out groups of people who have to get rid of a few tickets at a time due to cancellations)...and moved up to first row center at the intermission. Almost made up for having my car ticketed and towed in NYC (my first time) when I had actually parked legally! Oh well, can't win them all...

Well, his bio also includes these snippets:
"when the opportunity to audition for Billy Elliot came my way, I knew for sure I wanted to do musical theatre. Little did I know it would take me halfway around the world! I moved to England and began rehearsing while living in the 'Billy house' with other kids from the cast.
I had my debut performance as “Billy” in London's West End in December 2007, with lots of family coming "across the pond" just for the occasion!
It has really been incredible performing in the West End. It's an interesting situation being an American boy playing the lead role in a British musical, and being so far away from home. (Learning a new dialect for the role has been my secret to understanding British sayings). My offstage experience has been just as fantastic. I have made so many lifelong friends in the cast and experienced a different culture I would never have explored.
It will be amazing to play Billy in my hometown on Broadway."
