Some interesting things happening here. I think it's great that the Rattlestick is going to take on such an ambitious project on a playwright so young.
Article all about it here.

For $35 I got a student pass, which comes to $7 a play, and this is probably the best non-papering deal I've ever seen. I've picked out the dates to see each of the five plays and I'm very excited.
I saw Scarcity this Saturday and was completely amazed and pleased with what I saw. The set was unbelievably detailed and realistic. The performances, including a prepubescent girl were all touching and thrilling to watch.
The premise reminded me a tad of Matilda, but the story was complicated, tense, and very immersing.
I'm really looking forward to the four other plays, though I definitely feel like what I saw stands well on it's own.
