Yankee, even though you might not like Spring Awakening you have to admit it's a million times better than Mermaid. Spring Awakening is brave, haunting, and amazing. Mermaid is junk, lousy, ugly-costume, junk...

Nobody asked for your opinion about any show. Read the thread title, it says "Lunt-Fontanne Seating Question," not "Why Zeitoujo hates Mermaid and thinks everyone should see Spring Awakening instead." We get it. You hate Little Mermaid. Other people do not. Get over it.

Row O is the last row before the mezzanine overhang obstructs the view of the set

I feel like I should know what this means, having been in large theaters before, but I just can't quite picture it -- the balcony is something you sit under, so how could it be in your way of seeing the show?

Depending on how far back your seats are in an orchestra section, the mezzanine overhead can begin to block your view of the top portion of the stage-opening under the proscenium arch.

For example: if you sit in the mid to rear orchestra at the Majestic for "Phantom", you cannot see the Phantom when he is posing and running around at the top of the proscenium or the top of some tall scenery because the underside of the mezzanine fills the top part of your view.

Does that make sense? I hope that helps to clarify.
