Hey all -
So, in a matter of hours, I'll be front row for MACBETH. Where the heck's the stage door at the Lyceum? Admittedly, I never did it for INHERIT... or IS HE DEAD? Also, if it's not too intrusive of me, I was wondering if someone would be kind enough as to give me an approx. time it takes Patrick Stewart to come out? I only ask 'cause I have no preference as to what train to take home, but I want to reassure my guest that 'it's okay to stage door' - This'll be his first time. Also, I WILLL be making the quick-run to Staples tomm. afternoon before leaving, and get me one of them SILVER Sharpies!
Thanks so, so much!
Best,
- Mike
If you walk out the front of the Lyceum theatre to exit you have to go around the block to the back of the theatre for the stage door. I was there the other day and there were only about 6 people waiting, it was the Saturday matinee. I took my time as I wasn't really planning to wait for him, so I got there about 10 minutes after the show let out and he came out about 5 minutes later, signed for everyone who was waiting and was incredibly charming and polite and nice.
I had a black sharpie on me only so he just signed across the yellow playbill logo at the top.
Good to know that he comes out after matinees, thanks for posting that. Mike, when you exit the theater go to your right and look for the set of glass doors on the right. Go through there if they are open. That's the back entrance to Virgin. That hallway takes you to 46th, make a right and the stage door is just past the parking garage on your right.
FYI- I heard that Patrick Stewart does not want to be photographed!

Never known in London for being the politest of gentlemen!
We staged door Sat night and I can't remember how long it took him but it didn't take that long for him to come out, but we also took our time to run around the block.
There were only about 10 people that night and he was nice and signed everything, but no photos. He was very polite about it though.
