Lyric theater seating advice

Please help me choose the best tickets for the price. I'm planning to go during the week and would like to stay within $159 a seat range. Should I book seats in the front dress circle (thinking of row D seats 1 and 3 or 2 and 4) or far left/right orchestra, rows P, Q or R. It seems like these orchestra seats are obstructed. Which seats would you choose?

Thank you.

I haven't been in that theatre yet but personally, I'd always go front mezz over partial view orchestra.  I'm sure it's a great view from the front mezzanine.

Front row mezzanine if you can swing it. Enjoy!

There are no obstructed seats in rows P-R. The dress circle overhangs the orchestra at row Q, so it wouldn’t really become an issue until further back. That being said, I would go for the row D dress circle seats, just to be able to get the full impact of the effects above and around you in the theatre, especially if it’s your first time seeing the show. Technically, the view will be a little further away than seats in the orchestra, but I think it’s worth the trade-off.

Thank you for the response, my logic is the same as yours. I saw the play before from the second to last orchestra row and it was frustrating. Will go ahead with the row D in dress circle, although even the row A seems far from the stage. I only recently realized how huge the Lyric theater is. Cheers!
