I've written two musicals now, one with a local songwriter I play in a band with, and the other via online collaboration with a composer in New England. I'm looking for possible collaborators to start work on a third musical, as the writing phase has ended on the previous two. Is anyone here a competent composer who wants to try working with me? Also, is there a specific web site for connecting librettist/lyricists with composers to collaborate? If not, there should be!

I've tried craigslist- but since it posts in your own geographical area, and there are no composers writing for the stage where I am, I have had trouble finding a collaborator, especially amidst all the postings just looking for love and sex instead of business partnerships.

Playbill.com has a Connections section. It's in the left-hand column under "Theatre Central". You can do a search for composers; right now there are 48 listed. Good luck!
