Lysistrata Jones not using the Kerr balcony?

The single-ticket sales on Telecharge for Lysistrata Jones doesn’t give balcony as an option for seating, but the group tickets offer $27 student “upper deck” tickets, except on Saturday nights. I know that everyone has said that the balcony at the Kerr is horrible, but it’s weird that they’re not selling it for individual tickets and only for groups, assuming “upper deck” means balcony. Does anyone know anything about this? Could they be holding the balcony just for rush and groups?

They are using the balcony. All seats will be $25 and can only be purchased at the box office. It's the same policy most shows used there until recently - I think Grey Gardens was the first to sell the balcony online and raise the price.

wait..its operating costs might be INSANELY low...and the rent on the KERR cannot be that much...hmm..if this show ever sells above 85% i will sell my cat on twitter...yeah thats better

I feel like reminincing about how Zeta-Jones and Lansbury were able to sell the Balcony in this theatre for such a high cost (like $60?). I assume it's the highest they've ever been sold for.

A $25 ticket for Lysistrata Jones if you buy at the box office? Looks like I'm making a detour before picking up my press pass at Comic Con next week.

They probably aren't expecting enough tickets to be sold to warrant needing the balcony. This show sounds like such crap.

"Sounds" like crap? Please tell me you've seen it. I mean, I am usually okay with people judging what they have seen of a show and forming an opinion, but this show has next to nothing released.

Crap??? It sounds like fun sure its not the most amazing concept but its supposed to be fun??? right You know like xanadu campy silly and with a message. The songs sound like they might work.

xanadu was a very very niche audience in a theater that holds 600...and they sold 60% over and over again..this..i dunno..
