Kidding, obviously. They're advertising Hannah and she has a lovely Mary photo for her two week run. 

Oh, Stephanie Hsu could be great in this. I just don't think she's a big enough name for the marquee. 

Yeah, people weren't saying MHE was doomed because it was bad. They were saying it was doomed because they were struggling to raise capital, had to delay because their sets weren't ready, and I think it was even rumored that Darren Criss was going to reveal on his Z100 interview that the show was postponed before an angel investor stepped in.

Who knows? Maybe Beaches is adjusted enough to be in a good place. We don't know yet. 

If I had a nickel for every time a weird little off-Broadway jukebox musical about a luxury ship going down transfers to Broadway against all financial indicators, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird it's happened twice. Anyway, welcome to the "we played Broadway" license marketing club, Titanique. I hope your limited engagement is joyful and worthwhile for everyone involved. 

I'm shocked Heathers hasn't announced a limited Broadway engagement at this rate. 

Oh, that opening little introspective bit is lovely. She has acting chops. 

I hope this is good. It's going to make big bucks at the box office no matter what, so I can only hope it's not another slop fest like the Lilo & Stitch remake.

Goodness me. At least In My Life had the skeleton kick line to gawk at. These reviews are kinder than I expected but still not good.

Interesting. I'm glad that they made more changes to the book after London. The new songs were great, but the book had some missed opportunities.

I don't see myself having the time to see this, which is a shame since I'd be thrilled to catch Kerry Butler in this show again.

Anyway, for those in the know, did they go with the updates from the London production or stick with the original off-Broadway script? The big tell is if they had "Inside Your Heart" or "Mine, All Mine" for Bat Boy and Shelley in Act II.

Rob Lake is a fine stage magician.

I'm not sure why they're sharing a stage on Broadway, but here we are.

I'm admittedly not the biggest Lea Michele fan, but this is perfect casting for her. The score is a good match for what she brings as a vocalist and I know she can nail a park and bark moment.

I also can't imagine people complaining about riffing in a pop/rock Broadway score worked on by Tim Rice, but here we are. 

I was today years old when I learned Chloe Grace Moretz is old enough now to play a mother role in a play.

I hope the Six rumor is true. The casting calls have always included language suggesting that transwomen and non-binary performers would be considered, so it would be great to see that acted upon.

Dylan's show can happen at a later date if this is the case. Or it could have fallen through. We don't know either way yet.
