MAKE MY DAY!
I was sooooo friggin excited and if I can afford it I am totally going, VIP seats are 750 but there are NON VIP which will suit me just fine. I'm really excited to see it, and they say many more of the original cast is coming back, I'm really hoping for Matthew Porella (Count Ludwig) Juliet Lambert (Mistress, Fantine @ my first Bway show Les Mis when I was and PLEASE PLEASE Gregg Edelman! I'm thrilled to hear Michael Cerveris' take on the role of Georgio but I'm also curious as to where the hell Jere Shea has been for 10 years...

Has anyone tried to actually purchase tickets to this event? I just called 10 minutes ago and was told that this event is a rumor. So now I'm confused....every single site advertised this event yesterday, with ticket information, and now I'm being told that this is all just a rumor. Any one know anything??

Michael Cerveris already took on the role of Giorgio after his performance in the Passion concert last year with Patti LuPone and Audra McDonald. He was quite good. As for Donna and Marin, they're great, but I've already seen the DVD many times.

Did this new information about the concert being a rumor come form the Telecharge staff? What about the staff from Friends In Deed? I think they're selling the VIP tickets and cast party?

Ok..so to answer my own question..I just found out that tickets do not go on sale till October 1....as says the Friends in Deed website in very small print. But you think Telecharge and/or the theatre would know something as October 1 is only couple of days away!
