I am also intrigued. Does anyone know if they have released or will release a promo code for this one? The website asks for one on the purchase page, but I can't find one. There are still a decent number of tickets left, but in far from prime seating areas, like $75 4th-tier balcony seats or $150-175 corner or rear orchestra.

When this was announced I bought a ticket right away based on how impressed I was with Crazy For You. Haven't seen any discounts for it yet. Also, they have 3 cast members from OOTI. I assume they will appear later in the program after finishing their 7:00 show.

Thanks, Lizzie and Smidge! They were still a little pricy last week, but some nice discounts popped up yesterday, and I was able to grab some. Looking forward to the show tonight!

I paid full price for this (so $$$) and I think it was almost nearly or just about worth it. I wasn't familiar with most of the shows but knew most of the performers well. So I wholly lacked context for most of what was performed and the venue felt too cavernous for it. I don't know if it was just me and where I sat but the sound wasn't too good, felt muffled at times and when the orchestra got loud, the soloists were drowned out.I've been at Carnegie Hall before so it just seemed particularly worse for this show.
The in-between segment projected semi-lectures were so unnecessary and just served to make the long night longer.
On the bright side, the show was full of amazing performances as you would expect, and everyone was on their A game, not a weak link in sight. Michael Arden was the surprise standout for me; I had know idea he had such a lovely voice and beautiful delivery. I know he is/was an actor/performer but I only know his directing work (Spring Awakening & Once On This Island), so that was really cool. I really wish there was a video/recording of him singing the song from Nine (Unusual Way?) because it was glorious and I could listen to that version on repeat for days.
Many of the songs really piqued my interest and would love to see a proper, full fledged revival/staging of many of these shows. Yay theater!
I agree with so much mpkie said! I luckily paid $50 for a student seat in the middle of the orchestra on the morning of! There were 2 moments where I felt the soloists were overpowered, in the finales of both act one and two. They sang additional songs from all of the featured composers except Jason Robert Brown, which was very disappointing as I would've loved to hear some of the performers tackle some of his catalogue, especially Bridges and L5Y. I 100% agree that Michael Arden was the standout of the concert, his Unusual Way made me fall in love with him (Andy Mientus better watch his back ??) Mpkie if you message me I might be able to help with what you're looking for! Lea Salonga was the other standout for me, her songs, especially A Whole New World with Arden had me at the edge of my seat with every hair on my body standing up straight! Overall, it was a great evening and look forward to seeing MCPs future productions!
I had such a great time at this concert. Yes, the selections seemed based on who could show up to surprise the audience at the end, but I'm glad they performed what they performed.

I was there, and enjoyed it considerably - despite the crazy long/slow line getting into Carnegie Hall. Because it started late, I needed to leave early due to a prior commitment. I left during "A Whole New World." The program listed the Sister Act song as the last song; were there encores?

there was an additional song at the end but I can’t remember what it was
I believe it was the finale from Titanic.

I was there, the sound was great and artists, orchestra and choir was fantastic. “On the streets of a Dublin” was a nice suprise song that I wasn’t expecting and really ended up enjoying.
