Does anyone know if you can get the standing room tickets instead of the box seats? I always go really early when I rush but I'd much rather stand than be in a box seat. There's just no way I was paying $169 bucks for an 80 minute show so I'll gladly sit outside and wait a few hours for this one.

Every production is different as to when they will disseminate their Standing Room tickets ... some will do it at box-office opening even if there are still a few seats left available for sale to that particular performance, some will not sell the first SRO until after the moment the very last seat is sold.
I am not sure what they are doing for Meteor Shower though ... does anyone?
I go standing on ion when the box office opened today.
It is 7:45 am on a Saturday, and I am 18th in line. The first three people arrive at 4:15-4:30. The next person arrived at 6:30. There were 8 rush tickets for each performance. They had us make two lines: one for matinee and one for evening. Because the show was sold out, standing room was available at the same time.
I stopped by around 10:20 this morning (a Saturday, for future people reading this thread) to see if they had any SRO for the matinee. There were maybe 10 seats left on Telecharge when I went to bed last night, a mix of regular price and premium. They must have decided that was close enough because they sold the SRO right when the box office opened and they were gone by the time I got there.
It sounded like people ahead of me in line got partial view - not sure if those are the rush seats we've been talking about or if they were something else. I also heard them sell a few full price tickets. Not sure what time you have to be in line for SRO since I wasn't there, but definitely before 10 AM.
Also, they said to check back an hour before curtain for cancellation tickets for those who are interested in that.

They sold rush first, then offered standing room and partial view, so partial view is different than rush (I was further ahead in line).
@lm121362 - thanks. When you go today, can you look at the standing room spots and answer a few questions about height?
• Is the wall higher for some spots, or sloped? The wall at some theaters is taller in the center as opposed to the sides or slopes.
• About how high would you say the wall is? Or, how high does it come on you, and what is your height?
• Are you looking out over top of the last row's heads or are their heads even with your eye line?
I'm hoping to do SRO sometime but I am only just barely 5' in shoes and there are some theaters where I actually cannot do SRO because the wall is too tall for me. I'd, of course, hate to buy SRO and then find out that I can't see at all.
Glad they're selling SRO. Wish I had checked yesterday, cause I would have gone this morning... I might try during the week - I'll report back if I do!

the same all around
• About how high would you say the wall is? Or, how high does it come on you, and what is your height? I am 5'2" and wore flat shoes. The wall came up to my chest. I could put my elbows on the wall without feeling like I was reaching up. But you might feel like you are reaching up a bit.

you are looking up over their heads. I had no issues with sight.

I rushed on Saturday (11/11). I got there by 7:15 AM and was 12th in line. The person in front of me said he arrived about 5-10 minutes before me and the person behind me arrived by 7:30. People filtered in slowly after that, but I would say definitely a longer line by 8:30. They came out about 10 mins before 10am and told us there were 8 box seats for each performance and also standing room for each show, with more standing room available for the evening performance. They also said they were offering $69 partial view seats. When the box office opened, one window was for matinee and one for evening. There were much less people wanting matinee than evening before me in line. I went for matinee and had my pick of box seats or standing room. I chose standing room and it was a great view, no obstruction.

How much did each SRO cost?
Was the location simply behind the last row of the Orchestra?

you may may have been right in front of me! I was the person in the self-created sleeping bag cocoon!
Has anyone had success with standing room a couple hours before curtain? I may arrive in the city around 11 am to noon on a two-show day and was wondering if it's worth trying. Thank you!

"Front box" and "Rear box" describe the 2 different pairs of seats in the same box or are there multiple boxes on each side of the theatre with simply one pair in each?
I am confused on how exactly the 8 box-seats being sold are positioned.

What number in line would you like to be?"
I just want to see the show - I would even do SRO.
