I am very excited to finally see him live in Woman In White. I first noticed him on my Les Miz 10th Anniv. DVD and he just amazed me, I can't listen to anyone else sing "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables." Then I saw him sing among other things "Losing My Mind" on the Hey Mr. Producer! video tape, again outstanding. But he totally won me over on the Andrew Lloyd Webber Celebration tape, with rousing renditions of "All I Ask Of You," "Gesthmane," "Vaults of Heaven," and "Love Changes Everything." What a talent. I don't think many theatre actors today can compare w/ his vocal talent...and I adore most theatre actors' voices.

I have to agree with everything. Can't wait to see WIW. I loved him in Patience. Besides having a great voice, he is turning into a very good character actor.

Nice to see it alive and well here though. He may be cheese personified but he is talented cheese and a wonderful voice.

Michael Ball makes me swoon. I have been a fan since I first heard the cast recording to Aspects of Love. He is super talented and such a hottie! So glad he is back on Broadway...too bad he is in a fat suit though!

Give the guy some dignity! We are very lucky to have him on our shores again!!!! Even though he is blessed with wonderful physical attributes you won't be seeing them in WIW!!! His acting abilities really shine through! ...and that VOICE!! Welcome back to Broadway Michael!!!! Everyone one needs to see this performance!! It just doesn't get much better!!!

He came into my life, so to speak, via the London Production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and I've been a fan ever since. His singing has moved me to tears. His performance as Bunthorne showed me just how well he can handle comedy, and his portrayal of Fosco gave me shivers up my spine.

I wish Michael and the WiW cast all the best for Thursday.

I forgot to mention in my previous post that I observed him with his fans during his tenure in "Patience". He was kind and generous with everyone. The oldest and the youngest. And after chatting with members of that cast, I found that he was a team player and fun to work with. Glad you are back, Michael.

Had tickets to this Wednesday's matinee and am SO disappointed I won't be going -- since it was cancelled!!!
I will try my luck again on December 17th.

Maybe I will see some of you there!

Well, I wish Michael absolutely all the best. Thrilled to have him back on Broadway. He's one of my favourite performers of all time and has a beautiful voice and marvellous personality. No need to mention he's gorgeous, is there??

He's got a great voice, and is excellent as Fosco - I can't even imagine Michael Crawford in that role.

Ahhhhhhh...I've loved Michael Ball devotedly since I was but a child. Les Miserables, Aspects, what more could a girl want? He's such an amazing performer. He radiates charm and charisma and you can't help but watch, slack-jawed, as he performs, and I've yet to see him perform live! I can't imagine the delight a live experience will produce! =)

I have to wholeheartedly agree with all of you. No one can sing Enpty chairs like him. I love Aspects simply because you get hear Micheal's amazingly beautiful voice. I also saw the ALW celebration with him singing. bought it simply to have Micheal's version of Gethsemene. truly amazing talent! (and very good looking of course)

When I have heard him sing, he sounds amazing. He has a beautiful voice!!! I already got my tickets for WIW, and I know that that will make me a huge fan!!!!
