Posted: 4/1/09 at 8:06pmYes, Mel had already tapped him in the early stages of development to be the director. Susan Stroman was going to be the choreographer collaborator. When Mike died, Mel asked Susan to carry the load.

I worked with Mike on 'Me And My Girl' in London and its transfer to Broadway.
One of the nicest guys in the business.
Such a tragic loss of an amazing talent.
