Haven't seen the show; and I gather that few others here have, either. I will say that Levi Kreis (who'll be reprising his "Jerry Lee Lewis" role) is an amazing musician and performer -- kind of important since the actors DO play their own instruments in the show, and Levi is the same kind of killer pianist-singer that the part needs. He got a Jefferson nomination for it, and since Broadway has been raiding Chicago a lot over the past few years, it may be a case of "whatcha don't know might not hurtcha" when it comes to expectations. (And I can say that I saw Levi in both LA and Nashville when he brought more explosion to a stage than a lotta Broadway Babies ever can.) If you saw it and didn't like it, that's fine. But they've got a new director, and some new "blood" in the show.... So who knows?!?! (And no, I'm not associated with the production!!!)
